Winter fans will find everything their heart desires. Numerous huts in the ski area are perfect location for a nice tobogganing evening. Skiers and snowboarders will find 193km of ski slopes at the „Zillertal 3000 glacier ski area“ for there pleasure. If the snow conditions are good, the valley will offers 14km classic slopes and 14km of skating slopes for cross-country skiers. At our reception you will find more information, if you need.

Ski area in the Zillertal valley

Our Valley is one of the most snow-secure region in austria. The „Zillertal 3000 glacier ski area“ start at an altitude of 850m up to 3.250m above sea level. At the Hintertuxer Glacier snow-secure is guaranteed. The glacier ski area is open all year around for skiers and snowboarders! The ski bus stops is just outside our guesthouse.

Tobogganing

A snow-covered landscape will make you feel like going for a tobogganing session. Whether you are with family or friends, a tobogganing session is a felicitous alternation and is fun for young and old. It´s also possible to get a taxi service at spezial times to the huts.

Cross-country skiing

Passionate cross-country skiers and skaters can look forward to a trail network of over 16 km of groomed tracks – including 14 km along the Luggi-Gredler trail from Tux-Vorderlanersbach to Madseit, and a 1.5 km loop in Hintertux, ideal for technique training or a quick round. The trails get maintained by the tourism office and are free of charge. For beginners there is a possibility to take part in one of the courses for cross-country skiing. You can rent equipment in one of the sportshops in the valley.
